NIG pull out of Personal Lines in UK

NIG who are part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Insurance Group have decided to pull out of all personal lines insurance in the UK. Following several years of heavy losses they decided to concentrate on Commercial Insurance which has seen a big increase in turnover over the last 15 years. RBS still have Car and Home insurance through Direct line, Churchill and Privilege. All renewals due after 1st November will not be invited.
